LOCTITE EA E-60HP is a two-component, toughened, medium viscosity, industrial grade epoxy adhesive with a long operating time, which, when mixed,.
LOCTITE EA E-60HP 50ml cures at room temperature to form a tough, off-white layer that bonds to a wide range of substrates including plastics, metals, glass, rubber, wood and ceramics.
When fully cured, the epoxy is resistant to a wide range of chemicals and solvents and can be used as an excellent electrical insulating medium. Typical applications include general industrial applications where extended working time is required to allow parts to be adjusted during assembly.
Curing speed versus time The following graphs show the relationship between shear strength and time for an average adhesive layer gap of 3-9 mils on aluminium standards subjected to acid etching, tested in accordance with the requirements of IS04587.
